Dear UA-UNM Colleagues,
As you know, your UA-UNM Bargaining Team had a mediation session with Administration last Friday. Unfortunately, we did not reach agreement on our Unit 1 contract. We will share more information about next steps soon.
This makes it more important than ever to plan to attend our Spring General Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 5:00 pm – only about two weeks away! This will be an opportunity to hear updates on our contract negotiations and proposed Constitutional changes and to give your input on UA-UNM’s priorities and direction. The meeting will be hybrid, with childcare and dinner provided in person. RSVP here. Happy hour will follow at High & Dry! Event times and addresses are listed at the end of this email.
Though we continue to face many uncertainties right now, one thing that is always certain is that there is power in a union! Join our fight and become a dues-paying member of UA-UNM here!
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a steward for your department or area, please email organizing@uaunm.org.
