Welcome back to school! We hope you all had a restful winter break and are ready for the spring semester.
Need a pick-me-up to start off the new semester? Join us this Friday, January 23 at Amalie Coffee Co. (2131 Central Ave SE, suite C, 87106) from 4–6:30 pm for some coffee, pastries, and union goodies. We hope to see you there.
We also hope to see you tomorrow, January 22 from 1–3 pm in Santa Fe at the first annual Workers Day event in the Rotunda of the Roundhouse. Join unions such as UA-UNM, the Albuquerque Teachers Federation, Teamsters Local 492, CWA 7076, the United Graduate Workers of UNM, and community organizations such as New Mexico Dream Team, Organized Power in Numbers, OLE, and New Mexico Working Families Party as we come together to demand that New Mexico prioritize working people at this and future legislative sessions.
